What is IP Blocking?

IP blocking allows you to prevent specific users or entire IP ranges from commenting on your threads. This is an essential tool for maintaining a healthy community and preventing spam.

When to Use IP Blocking

Block IP addresses that repeatedly post spam, promotional content, or irrelevant comments.

Abusive Users

Prevent users who post inappropriate, offensive, or harassing content from returning.

Reason:Note why this IP was blocked (optional)

Types of IP Blocks

Permanent Block

Temporary Block

Blocks an IP address for a specified period (hours, days, or weeks).

Automatically expires
Less restrictive approach
